Felicia Bond, "Director", Pianist,Composer,Singer,Arranger,Trombonist, Drummer, and Percussionist, she is a super group all by herself. She began her career at the age of 6 under the direction of Carter Moses (Carter School of Music-Columbus, Ohio). By the time she was a teenager, Felicia was featured pianist at such venues as the “Columbus Arts Museum, Palace Theater and Ohio Theater. Felicia has survived professionally by being not only talented but flexible. It’s a quality the fickle business of music and entertainment often demands, even of its best practitioners. Felicia has adapted her skills to fit any opportunity and in the process she has served in numerous ensembles specializing in vastly different genres. Her resume includes quality time in Pop, R&B and Funk, Reggae, Blues, Gospel, Jazz and her own original compositions. As a result, Felicia has performed many kinds of music in many types of places—theaters, convention halls, humble joints, grand concert halls, upscale nightclubs, ballrooms, happy-hour lounges and churches. Felicia's desires to start her own band has become a reality with the creation of "cJazzic Soul" where she brings together a taste of tradition with a flavor of ole-skool R&B, Smooth Jazz and Soul; paying tribute to musical greats such as Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Ramsey Lewis, Earth, Wind and Fire and Isley Brothers just to name a few. Brenda Richards Freiheit Keyboards, Background Vocals, began taking piano lessons from her mother, Carol Richards, at age 5, when her grandparents gave the family a piano as a Christmas gift. She began playing in piano recitals for the annual Eistedfods (a Welsh tradition of music in the Jackson community, where Brenda grew up). Brenda took piano and organ lessons through age 18, under the instruction of James Eisnaugle, a well-respected piano teacher in Jackson. Brenda sang in the Christ United Methodist Church children's and youth choirs, and in the high school Glee Club and swing choirs, each of which she also assisted as a piano accompanist. Brenda also participated in the symphony and marching bands, where she played the clarinet and the flute. At Ohio University, Brenda led her sorority as song chairman, and played for several of her friends' weddings. Brenda decided to get back into music after several years, and joined some work colleagues to form The Nu-NRG band, for a company charity talent show. After that experience, she found out about cJazzic Soul, and auditioned. She joined the band in August of 2006, playing keyboards, and singing background vocals.
